 2015 / 2018 IECC Highlights

After my review I will provide you with an IC3 report for new construction or a REScheck report for additions and remodels.  You will also receive an energy compliance path form to turn in with your permit application

Inspection

An inspection must be done at insulation rough-in before the walls are covered.  A duct tightness test must be performed on new HVAC systems unless the system is fully within conditioned space.  A blower door test is required for all new construction.  I do not perform these tests. Go to the testing tab for for a list of certified Raters that I have worked with in the past.  A final inspection is also required but can be done in conjunction with the final green inspection.

After my inspection I'll turn in the 2015 energy code compliance certificate directly to the city.
